Form Dash was started in 2017 by Alyssa Nolte. As a long-time high school dance team coach, fundraising was a necessary evil. After a particularly difficult fundraiser selling ice cream cookies – I decided there had to be a better way to track sales, organize the customer information, and collect payments. After that, Form Dash was born. I created the perfect tool for myself by combining technical expertise in building online applications and a desire to make fundraising more efficient.
Form Dash was never meant to be a company. It was always meant to be something that made my life easier. However, as I started using Form Dash and sharing our fundraisers online, my coaching friends were curious, “Hey, what’s that Form Dash thing you’re using? Can I use it too?”
And thus, Form Dash became something bigger than just a personal project; it became a tool to streamline the fundraising process for my coach friends in my personal network. As time wore on, I had other coaches and non-profits approach me. And in 2020, that’s when we started seeing a greater need for digital fundraising. We added eBay-style auctions, expanded our capabilities, and are ready to help you raise the money you need for your program to be successful.
